World Pharmacist Day Celebration

The World Pharmacist Day was celebrated jointly by B.R. Nahata College of Pharmacy of Mandsaur University and Mandsaur Institute of Pharmacy. National Pharmacist Day is celebrated in many countries on different dates of the year. It is celebrated to promote pharmacy and its importance in the health sector. “From research to health care: Your pharmacist is at your service” is the theme of this year’s World Pharmacists Day.

During the programme, Er Rahul Nahata, Executive Chairman, Dr. Dilip Kumar Patnaik, Vice Chancellor of Mandsaur University, Dr. Navin Chaudhary, Shailendra Sharma, Dean of Academic Affairs  and Prof. Ashish Parikh, Registrar , Dr  Narendra Trivedi (Founder of Medie Point), Prof. Sanjay Jain, Dr. Vishal Soni, Dr. Priyanka Soni, Dr. Rahul Trivedi, Prof Ashish Sethia, Prof. Karan Gupta, Prof. Vishal Sharma, and full staff of the college were present.

Dr V K Gandhi, Mr Pankaj Surana and Mr P P Soni were honoured for their remarkable contribution in the field of ‘Medical and Health Care’.

A ‘Poster Making Competition’ was organized in which students demonstrated the role of the pharmacist in the society through the floating diagrams. At the end of the programme, Dr. Navin Chaudhary proposed the vote of thanks. The celebration ended with a health awareness rally.
