Workshop on “Surveying by advanced surveying equipment named Total Station”

Department of Civil Engineering organized a workshop on Surveying by advanced surveying equipment named Total Station during 01/11/2019 to 05/11/2019 (5 days) for the students of Diploma and B. Tech Civil Engineering. Total 30 Students from B. Tech and Diploma III, V semester have participated in this workshop. Mr. Saurabh Jain, Managing Director of JP Construction and JP survey academy was the resource person. Mr. Saurabh took one-hour session in the starting of the workshop in which he explained the importance and scope of the Total station survey. He also explained the career opportunities in the field of surveying. The purpose of organizing this workshop was to make the students industry ready in the field of surveying. Also, Total Station survey is the part of curriculum in Advanced Surveying subject. This workshop was proved fruitful for the students because they learned to perform important various tasks of surveying by Total Station machine. Nowadays, because of the less requirement of time and accuracy in surveying work the Total Station machine are being used by industries. So that with the help of this kind of workshops the students can find more opportunity to nurture their future aspects.
