Who am I

Faculty of Life Science has organized a competition entitled “Who am I” for the students of B.Sc (Honours) Biotechnology and Microbiology on 2nd February 2019, between 2.00pm to 3.30pm.Competition was based on identification of different scientists and contributors of various fields related to Biotechnology and Microbiology. The competition started sharp at 2.00pm with the explanation of rules and regulations to be followed while participating to the contestant. Nine groups were divided among 19 students, each group consists of two students one each from first year and second year respectively. Slides containing the picture of scientist with their life time history and contribution were displayed to the contestant, and they were asked to identify them and number them as per the slide number on a sheet provided with the names of scientists. Group F (Rahul Solanki B.Sc (Honours) Microbiology IVth Sem and Nida Mansuri B.Sc (Honours) Microbiology IInd Sem) were declared winner for identifying 16 scientists out of 20 followed by Group I (Ajay Rathore B.Sc (Honours) Microbiology IVth Sem and Priyalshri Chattar B.Sc (Honours) Microbiology IInd Sem) and Group E (Nazmeen Choudhary B.Sc (Honours) Botechnology IVth Sem and Nameera Bee B.Sc (Honours) Microbiology IInd Sem) was in second and third rank respectively.  HOD Shekhar Jain, Asst. Professor Farha Ansari, Asst. Professor Meenakshi Jain and Asst. Professor Dr. Brajogopal Samanta were also actively participated and enjoyed the competition. Dr. Taniya Sengupta Rathore was the Coordinator for the competitions.
