Brief description / remarks:

Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce organized a Webinar on “Indian Economy During the Pandemic: Strategies for Resilience and Navigating the New Normal”.

The webinar was anticipated to give the broad knowledge of Strategies for Resilience and Navigating the New Normal in Indian Economy during the Pandemic.
The webinar also focused on strategies for future of Indian Economy. The webinar was started at 11.00 o’clock by welcoming of all participants. Welcome address was given by Mr. Ruben Shah (Faculty, DBMC), Dr. Gopal Krishna Rathore (Coordinator of webinar), presented the theme of webinar and highlighted the key points.

Resource person of webinar Dr. Sabat Kumar Digal explained about Economy before pandemic, Evolving Trends Emergence of COVID-19, Economy after the Pandemic, Strategies adopted and Suggested Strategies for the Future, Teaching Community as the Future Frontline Warriors etc. He also discussed about the New normal and gap between initiatives and tangible outcomes of Indian Economy. The session was interactive in nature where participants asked various questions and resource person answered all the queries with relevant examples. Dr. Mukesh Sharma (Convener of webinar) presented a vote of thanks.

In this webinar total 722 participants were registered out of which 472 were present during the live session. The participants were from 24 states of India. The majority of participation from south India. The webinar was conducted on Google meet app & live streaming on you tube.

 

Outcome :
• The webinar is helpful for academicians and students to understand the situation and strategy of Indian Economy during the pandemic.
• It will persuade the participants towards research in Indian Economy.
