Visit to Biological Sciences Laboratory

The objective of the visit was to interact with the researcher, get knowledge about advance instruments and understood about the various researches going on in Biological Science Laboratory of Indian institute of Science, Education and Research, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Students of B. Sc (Honours) Biotechnology/Microbiology II/IV/VI sem visited the Biological Science Laboratory of IISER, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. During the visit, students have seen various advance instruments viz. Real Time PCR, Thermal Cycler, Millipore Water Purification system, Live cell Confocal Microscope, Gel Documentation Unit, Ultracentrifuge Unit, Rotary shaker incubator, CD Spectrophotometer etc.

Research scholar of the Biological Sciences Laboratory, IISER explained the methodology and working principle of all sophisticated instruments and research activities carried out in the laboratory to the students.
