Visit to anatomy lab for observing human body specimens and models

The students of B. Pharm II sem. visited the Anatomy lab (during practical hours for the same subject) at  Mandsaur Institute of Ayurvedic Education and Research, MU, Mandsaur. During the visit, students seen various preserved isolated human body specimens. Mr. Ritesh Kala and Mr. Shailendra Wadhwa facilitated the students and solved their queries regarding human anatomy and physiology.

Dr. R. Ganesh Babu (Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy at Ayurveda college) demonstrated the organ specimens and other anatomy models. Students also learnt about principles of Ayurveda and studying human anatomy in ancient times.

We are very thankful to Dr.  Jayshankar Mund, Principal,  Institute of Ayurvedic Education and Research for permitting us for the visit.

Students learnt about human anatomy and various body systems by observing real body organs and interactive anatomy models. This will help the students for making an in depth understanding of human anatomy, which is fundamental for learning other pharmacy subjects.
