Brief description / remarks:

The sixth activity of the RCLS was conducted on 07th November, 2020. The “Virtual Power Point Presentation Competition” entitled “Voyage towards Nobel Prize” was organized to increase the awareness about Nobel prize and Research & Development among the students.
Eight students of Faculty of Life Sciences participate in the competition. During presentation, they thoroughly talked on the history of Noble prize, background behind the Prize, Importance of prize, Indian Nobel laureate and international Noble winners. Students also gave the special emphasis on the individuals Noble laureates and describe his /her joinery towards the winning of Nobel prize. During question and answer session Judge and audience (Students of Life Sciences and Faculties) very enthusiastically interacted with the participants and asked very relevant and important question to Presenter and in similar passion, participants gave answer for each and every queries raised by the students and judge.
The competition was judge by the Dr. Akshada Mashelkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Agriculture, Mandsaur University and Dr. Khushdil Khan, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Life Sciences, Mandsaur University. They asked questions meticulously to the participants and motivated the students during their remarks. The result of the competition are as follow-

Category I (B.Sc. First Year Students)

  • First Position     : Varsha Dhakad
  • Second  Position: Intezar Khan

Category II (Second year, Third Year students of B. Sc and M. Sc) 

  • First Position    :   Swati Patidar
  • Second Position:   Trapti Rajguru

At the end, Dr. Shekhar Jain, HOD, motivated students for moving forward in the field of research for the humane welfare. All faculty members of Faculty of life Sciences attended the program and assisted in the smooth conduction of the same. Dr. Ashish Warghane, Asst. Professor was the Coordinator of the event.


Such types of virtual power point presentation competition augment and improve the knowledge regarding Nobel Prizes and the story behind the success of Nobel Prize Winners for getting such a renowned Prize in different fields. This competition helps our students to gives their best in similar kind of competition conducted national and international platform in near future. It will also help to develop the research and development aptitude in the students.
