Two-Week ISTE STTP on CMOS Mixed Signal and Radio Frequency VLSI Design
On 30th January, 2017, Two-Week ISTE STTP on CMOS Mixed Signal and Radio Frequency VLSI Design sponsored by National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), funded by MHRD was inaugurated at Mandsaur University, Mandsaur.
Inaugural Session witnessed the presence of Dr. Shailendra Sharma (Academic Dean), Prof. Ashish Parikh (Remote Center Coordinator) and Sourabh Jain (Workshop Coordinator) along with 13 Faculties (Participants) of Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, & Math’s Department.
Dr. Shailendra Sharma, while addressing the gathering informed that mission of MHRD, Govt. of India is to trained teachers so that they are strong enough towards the fundamental of C-MOS and Mixed Signal Processing and become capable enough to deliver to the students in the class.
Mandsaur University, Mandsaur has been operating as remote center for IIT MHRD Mission since Oct, 2011 and organizing various activities as directed by IIT BOMBAY and IIT Kharagpur. Participating teachers attend live lectures at a remote center close to their own college, and also attend tutorial and lab sessions conducted in the same centers. The lecture transmission and live interaction takes place in distance mode using A-VIEW technology
through Internet at the selected remote centers across the country.
The two week program has been live transmitted from IIT Kharagpur. The faculties involved in the teaching are:
Prof. T. K. Bhattacharya, Department of Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering. IIT Kharagpur
Prof. Indrajit Chakrabarti, Department of Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering. IIT Kharagpur
Dr. Mrigank Sharad, Department of Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering. IIT Kharagpur
