Two days workshop on “Basic Banking Concepts & Contemporary Terminologies”

Faculty of Business Management and Commerce organized two day’s workshop on “Basic Banking Concepts and Contemporary Terminologies” on November 13 & 14, 2019. The two days workshop emphasized on the fundamental knowledge about the basic banking and its associate terminologies.

In an inaugural session Prof. Avinash Vikram (HOD, DBMC) elaborated the theme and schedule of workshop. The first day session was taken by Dr. Mukesh Sharma. Dr. Sharma explained the whole journey of Indian banking in three phases i.e. banking prior to independence, independence to 1991 and 1991 to till date. The Second day session was taken by Prof. Shikha Machhopuriya on A to Z banking and its associated terminologies.

On the basis of contents of workshop multiple choice questions based online examination was conducted at LT-03, 02:15 to 03:15 pm, in which 42 students appeared.
