Forensic Science is considered as an important branch of Modern science which uses basic principle of Natural science to solve criminalist cases. Laboratory based searches are the part of applications of Biotechnology. In one day workshop organized by Faculty of Life Sciences on 15 March 2021, students were trained to perform identification of individuals by their finger print analysis. The whole process was demonstrated by Dr. Taniya Sengupta Rathore through power point presentation. The presentation includes:
- Principle of fingerprinting
- Classification of ridges into loop, arches and whorl.
