Teachers Day

The contribution of a teacher cannot be ignored at all. A teacher is a friend, philosopher and guide who holds our hand, open our mind and touches our heart. In India, the Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September and this tradition started from 1962. This is the when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born, his dedicated work towards education made his birthday an important day in the history of India.

For the students of Life Science Department it was an auspicious day to celebrate Teachers’ Day   with a view in their mind. Teachers’ Day celebration began with Saraswati Poojan by HOD Dr. Shekhar Jain followed by other faculties of the department. Many students share their views toward the faculties of the department. Students presented gifts, greeting cards and arranged refreshment as a token of respect for their teachers. Faculties have shared their childhood moments of the school and college time with students. The students have arranged various games for the faculties such as one minute game, musical chair etc. They also requested the faculties to present their hobbies in front of them so that they could be encouraged. Vote of thanks was delivered by Vanshika Yadav M.Sc Ist sem Biotechnology. The program concluded with Thank you note on behalf of all the faculties by the HOD Dr. Shekhar Jain. He appreciated all the students for successful conduction of celebration and inspired them for discipline, dedication, punctuality, time management & continuous learning.
