Session on “JOB MARKET UNDERSTANDING AND SCOPE”

One day session on “Job Market Understanding and Scope” for final year students (A & B category) was organized under AAROHAN on 14 November 2019.The guest speaker of the session was Ms. Adarsh Parikh (AVP) . He is Associate Vice President of Silvertouch Technology limited, Ahmedabad and is a well known soft skill trainer. His areas of expertise are Job Market, Market Understanding.The two hour session by Mr. Adarsh Parikh infused the idea of possibilities and growth in Market. He invoked the session by defining Job Market and its significance to survive in cut-throat competition. He also clarified the updated techniques and skills required to stand unique among others in Job environment. Apart from Skill development, he focused on sharpening “One Specialized Skill” which becomes the Jack of all other skills and finally create a master of one’s own field. He focused on keeping oneself up to date with current thinking, skills and techniques which is vital for a successful career and educational qualifications are an excellent way of maintaining professional development. One must be aware of Industry, research organizations for understanding the mindset of the employers and employees. He also initialized the deeper aspects of the job market which can grow or shrink depending on the demand for labor and the available supply of workers within the overall economy.Overall the session proved beneficial for the students as they will be soon exposed to professional and Job world wherein they would be interacting with naïve methods to sustain with their skills and innovative approaches.A total of 109 students actively attended the session.
