Science Rangoli Competition
Microbiologists Society of India was established in March 1996 and registered in November 1996 in Satara, Maharashtra India. National level Immunology Rangoli Competition is going to be organized by New Arts Commerce and Science College Ahmednagar in association with Microbiologist Society of India. Three entries from each college or university have been invited for the same.
With the aim of shining Life Science students at national level, Faculty of Life Science has organized Science Rangoli competition on 22nd August 2019 to select best three rangolis to be sent for participation. The competition started sharp at 1.30pm at Department campus with the explanation of rules and regulations to be followed while participating in the competition. Dr. Shweta Pandey (Consulting Microbiologist) and Dr. Ashish Wardhane (Asst. Professor, Life Science) were the judges for the competitions. Among 46 contestants (3 in each group) Ankit Rathore, Jitesh Chouhan of B.Sc (Honours) Microbiology 3rd Sem and Sandeep Kumar of B.Sc (Honours) Biotechnology 3rd Sem were the winners. First runner up was begged by M.Sc. Biotechnology Ist year Students namely Priyal Sethiya, Vanshika Yadav and Pooja Tank. Shalina Patidar and Priyanshi Rathore of B.Sc. (Honours) Microbiology 3rd Sem were the IInd runner up. All departmental HODs, Dr. Shailendra Sharma (Vice Chancellor, Mandsaur University), Dr. R. A Sharma (Director, Department of Agriculture) were the guest of honours for the valedictory ceremony. Honorable VC Sir, Dr. Shailendra Sharma and Chief guest Dr. Shweta Pandey in their speech appreciated the students for participating in such activities. They also appreciated the faculties for organizing activities with innovations. Certificates to all the winners were distributed by Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Dr. R. A Sharma, Dr. Shekhar Jain, Dr. Shweta Pandey and the faculty members of Life Science Department. Vote of thanks was delivered at the end by Dr. Shekhar Jain.
