Pre-Budget Discussion & Live Telecast of Budget 2020

Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce organized a session on Budget & its related aspects on 1st February 2020, which was delivered Live by Hon’ble Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitaraman.

The key purpose behind this session was to make the students aware about the budget related aspects like fiscal deficits, debt to GDP ratio, FRBM guidelines, taxation, budget allocation among various sectors of economy etc.

Session was started at 10.00 am in MBA Lab, Mandsaur University chaired by Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Shailendra Sharma and Mr. Naresh Mehra (Tax & MSME Expert). Prior to the commencement of the session Dr. Mukesh Sharma (Faculty DBMC) delivered a lecture on history of budget in India and current economic position of the country. After that Dr. Shailendra Sharma expressed his views on Importance of Budget Session to students and motivated students towards such sessions followed by Mr. Naresh Mehra took a session on expectation towards this budget. Session was ended after healthy discussion on various perspective of Budget 2020 and Mr. Mehra expressed implications of budget 2020 on the economy of the India. At the end of session Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Gopal Krishna Ratore. All the faculty members of department were present during the session.
