Brief description / remarks: Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an Online National Webinar for the Students and Faculty members of all streams on the topic “Energy Swaraj: The Essence of Sustainability” on May 25, 2021. Out of 535 registered participants, 227 participated (100 participants on Google meet, and 127 participants attended a live session on Facebook). Participants are from various states are Maharashtra, Telangana, M. P., U. P., Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Odisha, Gujarat, Karnataka, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh.

Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki focuses on the law of sustainability and a three-step approach to energy savings. He elaborated future of renewable energy and minimizes the use of energy by using energy-saving appliances.

The program continued in Google Meet platform as well as live on Facebook so that maximum participant may avail benefit of live webinar session, The feedback form was issued and received positive feedback from participants. E-certificates had issued to all active participants.
