Brief description/ Remarks:

Faculty of Life Sciences has successfully conducted an Online Alumni Interaction for B.Sc. (Hons) Biotechnology and Microbiology IIIrd & Vth semester students. The session was taken by Ms. Priyanka Ratnawat, B. Sc (Hons) Biotechnology, Alumni 2019 batch. She is currently working as Senior Medical Coder at Global Healthcare Billing Partner Pvt. Ltd, Vadodara, Gujarat.  Ms. Priyanka addressed the students regarding the industry expectations from their expertise, and emphasize on the importance of communication and laboratory practical skills in present scenario. She also encouraged students to harness the required skill set and make the use of  opportunities provided by the department in the form of various activities like guest lectures, expert lectures, workshops, AARAMBH,  AAROHAN sessions etc. At the end queries asked by the students were very well resolved.

This session was an interactive session wherein the alumni shared her experience and guided students about the challenges and how to resolve them. Dr. Shekhar Jain, HOD, Life Sciences also motivated and guided them to take advantage of the facilities available in the department. He also gave best wishes to Ms. Priyanka Ratnawat for her future. The session was coordinated by Ms. Heena Shah, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Life Sciences, Mandsaur University.

  • Alumni play an important role as mentors, advisers and inspirations for our current students.
  • Students gained information about how to face an interview, what companies focus on and how to prepare themselves as a competent Biotechnology & Microbiology graduate.
