One week training program on MCX By Commodity Market

Department of Business Administration and Commerce organized “30 hours training program on MCX-Commodity Market” for III Semester students of DBMC. The main object of the programme was to provide basics as well as practical aspect of Commodity market.  The program was started on 06 November, 2019 at 09:30 am, Prof.Swati Bhaiyya welcomed all the students and highlighted the importance of the training program as well as Prof. Avinash Vikram discussed about the role of commodity market in India and its importance as a career. In the inaugural session of workshop, Mr. Umesh Sharma (Technical Analyst) highlighted about evolution of commodity market, its role in Indian economy, lot sizes of metals, agri commodities, crude etc. After covering basic terminologies, Mr. Sharma gave brief overview of derivatives of commodity market, basics of technical analysis which includes the understanding of various charts, patterns and trend follows in market.

On the last day of training programme an evaluative test conducted by Mr. Sharma for assessment of students regarding the Commodity Market training programme.
