National Service Scheme Camp

Aim: Our Organization aim to produce Youth who are socially responsible and work for the development of the society.

National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched in Gandhiji’s Birth Centenary Year 1969 in 37 Universities involving 40,000 students with primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service. Today, NSS has more than 3.2 million student volunteers on its roll spread over 298 Universities and 42 (+2) Senior Secondary Councils and Directorate of Vocational Education all over the country. From its inception, more than 3.75 crores students from Universities, Colleges and Institutions of higher learning have benefited from the NSS activities as student volunteers.

With the goal to work for the betterment of society and instill the spirit of social service among the young students, MU, established NSS at institute level. Currently, NSS, MU, Mandsaur has over 200 active members from different disciplines, Blood donation camps, AIDS awareness camps etc. The motto “Not for me, but for the nation.”

NSS Unit Mandsaur University organized A seven Days Special Camp at Village Dalouda, Dist. Mandsaur from 24th March 2016 to 30th March 2016 . Nukkad Natak was organized on the subject of Dowry and Beti Bachao. Yoga classes by trainers, Cleaning Drive, Blood Donation, Blood Group Testing, Prabhat Pheri, Diabetic and glucose testing, NSS Cadets interacted with the villages and made a blood group database of 1100 people with their contact no. and handed it to the Sarpanch Shree Vipin Ji Jain.
