N.S.S visit & Diwali celebration
National Service Scheme motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and empathy for fellow human beings. It underlies that the welfare of an individual ultimately depends on the welfare of an individual ultimately depends on the welfare of the society.With the same thought, Faculty of Life Sciences has organized N.S.S. visit and Diwali celebration program at Vatsalyadham Ashram, Mandsaur for the students of M.Sc and B.Sc (Honors) on 19th October 2019, between 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The program was inaugurated in the Seminar hall of faculty of Life Science by Mr. Rakesh Patidar in the presence of staff members of Faculty of Life Science. He enlightens the program by sharing his opinions and experiences with students about last year N.S.S. camp and connections with student development in the society. In the inaugural speech, Dr. Shekhar Jain, HOD, Life Sciences also urged students to get aware about social problems, find out its solution and spread the awareness about it in the society. Then, we all moved towards Vatsalyadham Ashram, Mandsaur. Total 80 students and 06 faculty members have participated from Faculty of life Sciences. At start, all students and faculty members have participated in the cleaning of Ashram campus. Further all had spent quality time with Vatsalyadham elders, providing them with fruits and biscuits and much needed feelings of togetherness and bonding of a family, which makes them Diwali special to all at Vatsalyadham Ashram, Mandsaur.During this whole visit the family of Life Science department gets blessed by the blessings of Vatsalyadham elders. The program was coordinated by Rohit Shankar Mane, Asst. Prof. & N.S.S. coordinator, Faculty of Life Sciences.
