Management Students Get Export-Import Training
Faculty members and students of MBA, BBA and B Com attended a Seminar organized by MP Small Scale Industries Organization (MPSSIO) in collaboration with Federation of Indian Exporters Organization (FIEO), Export Credit & Guarantee Corporation (ECGC), and State Bank Of India, Forex Division. The event was organized on Monday, 29th May 2017 at Hotel Rituvan, Mandsaur.
Prof. Jagdish Khatri, Director-BMC led the delegation of Management Department along with faculty members, Mr. Avinash Vikram and Mr. Saurabh Mishra. Students who attended the Seminar are: M/s Rishi Mittal, Mohit Sethia & Piyush Sisodiya from MBA; Aman Mehta, Tanay Soni & Chirag Kothari from BBA; and Akash Jhanwar, Chirag Jain and Ayush Soni from B Com. It was an enriching experience for the students to get motivation for becoming exporters themselves.
Following are the highlights of the presentations made at the Seminar:
Mr. Rajesh Bhatia, Director, FIEO, Indore made an extensive presentation detailing the services rendered by FIEO. He showed practical live examples of using the website Indian Trade Portal for information on any aspects of imports or exports regarding policy, incentives, country profile etc.
Mr. Prakash Deshmukh, Branch Manager, ECGC, Indore informed about the various kinds of risks related to exports and the guarantees provided by ECGC to exporters.
Mr. Puneet Bhargava, Dy. Manager & Treasury Marketing Officer, SBI, Indore presented the schemes of SBI for advancing loans to exporters. Mr. Sohan Kumar, Regional Manager, SBI, Mandaur invited all exporters to avail the facilities provided by SBI under various promotional schemes. Mr. V.K. Porwal from MPSSIO, Ratlam conducted the proceedings and Mr. Mahendra Jain of M/s Nagawat Traders, Mandsaur proposed vote of thanks.
