Karl Fischer Instrument
Department of Pharmacy organized Sophisticated Instrument Training for Students of VIII Sem., who are appearing in various interviews process for work in Pharmaceutical Industries. By this type of activity student will learn about the theoretical as well as practical aspects of the Karl Fischer instrument. During the demonstration Mr. Karan Gupta explained the students about principal and working mechanism of Sophisticated Instruments. Karl Fischer titration is a classic titration method in analytical chemistry that uses volumetric titration to determine trace amounts of water in a sample. The popularity of the Karl Fischer titration is due in large part to several practical advantages that it holds over other methods of moisture determination, such as accuracy, speed and selectivity. At the end, students were able to answer about the basics of Karl Fischer instrument Technique.
