Investor Awareness & SEBI Role

Faculty of Business Management and Commerce organized adjunct lecture on “Investor Awareness & SEBI Role” on 11 Feb 2020, which was delivered by Mr. Lakhan Dabi (Certified Trainer from SEBI).

The basic objective of session was to make the students aware about the concept of Investment, share market, role of SEBI. The session started at 11.00 am in the DBMC Lab with warm welcome by Prof. Shyamlal Patidar, Prof. Avinash Vikram (HOD) greeted the guest by presenting a bouquet. In the session speaker highlighted the basics of investment, inflation, investment avenues, demat, depositaries, mutual fund etc. and also discussed the emerging issues in Indian investment market. The session was interactive in nature and the students took participation by raising queries like buying and selling of shares, factors influencing price fluctuation, difference between saving & investment etc. All the departmental faculty members and students were present during the session. The session concluded with a vote of thanks given by Ms. Shikha Machhopuriya.
