“Innovation and Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Teaching, Learning and Research”

Dr. Naveen K Choudhary and Dr. Amit Kumar Jain attended the Pharmacy council of India sponsored three days Continuing Education Program entitled “Innovation and Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Teaching, Learning and Research” . This integrated Continuing Pharmacy Program was aimed at escalating the understanding of the faculty on the strategies involved in effective execution of the new B. Pharm. & M. Pharm. Curriculum. The program was also intended to provide opportunities for the teacher to acquaint themselves with recent developments in teaching and learning methods; to enhance their knowledge and skills on the principles of evaluation and question paper setting for the undergraduate curriculum. The focus of this CEP was also extended towards emphasizing the role of a faculty in bridging academia and industry through research, strengthening the skills of the faculty for effective mentor-mentee dynamics and provide assistance on their overall personality development.

The main objective of the CEP was to provide platform to the academicians to understand the emerging field like Medical coding, Pharmacovigilence, Pharmacogenomics, Clinical trial, Artificial Intelligence, organ transplantations etc.

Prof. Shailendra Saraf, Vice President, Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi graced the event as Chief Guest.

Overall program was informative and interactive where we are able to learn new teaching pedagogy, learning methods and work as mentor as well as facilitator for the professional development of students and self in academic environment.
