Independence Day Celebration
Mandsaur University celebrated its 2nd Independence Day after the emergence of the university which was the 71st celebration of India’s Independence. This function was celebrated in the second campus of the university centrally. On this auspicious occasion, Mandsaur University’s hounrable Chancellor Shri. Narendra Nahta Ji addressed the students by giving the motivational speech that how we got this Independence after a long journey for the freedom. He stressed on the fact that life is all about fighting against the odd situations to prevail upon the independence. The vice chancellor Prof. D.K Patnaik also explained how one can serve the country in a better manner which in reality is true freedom.
The students also enjoyed presenting various cultural activities; the programme was started by the welcome song and tribute to our freedom fighters, after they presented a wonderful skit depicting the current status and condition of the women in our society. There was a theme of Programme entitled “AAYAM” (exploring new destinations) in which from the different age cycle of people-
- (Early Age) under 18 = Mr. Divyansh Verma.
- (Middle Age) Till 45 = Mr. Gupta.
- (Old Age) Till 70 = Mr. Rao.
They have got awarded for the achievement in their life and they told about their success in life by giving small speech that what the main objective of the success story is. There inspirational stories and set up of example for the today youth were giving the information how to make success stories in your life. These all notable persons were the example of mandsaur only and in last but not least vote of thanks was given by Prof. Jayshankar Mund (Principal –MIAER).
