High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Instrument.
Department of Pharmacy organized Sophisticated Instrument Training for Students of VIII Semester, who are appearing in various interviews process for quality control and pharmaceutical production department. By this type of activity student will learn about the theoretical as well as practical aspects of the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Instrument. During the demonstration Mr. Karan Gupta (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharm. Analysis) taught the students about principal and working mechanism of Sophisticated Instruments and about the various columns used in analysis of the pharmaceuticals. HPLC (known as high performance liquid chromatography, high pressure liquid chromatography) is used to separate the phases of a solid or liquid analyte, regardless of its stability and volatility. At the end, students were able to answer about the basics of HPLC.
