Group Discussion Competition
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Group discussion competition on 10 February 2018. The aim of this activity was to develop self-confidence, general awareness and speaking skills among the students and to prepare them for placements. Twenty four students participated in the first round of competition. Out of these, twelve students were selected to compete in the final round. The following topics were selected for the discussion:
1. Is social media actually connecting people?
2. Smartphones: Painkiller or Pain?
3. Farmer Suicides in India: What needs to be done?
4. Unemployment in India
The event was judged by Prof Ruben Shah, Department of Business Management and Commerce. The criteria for selection of student was based on communication skills, body language, group participation, knowledge and assertiveness. The following students were declared as winners:

Third. Avashi Upadhyay
Fourth. Jesna Mathew
Fifth. Ayush Mittal
