Ganesh Sthapna & Visarjan

Lord Ganesha is supposed to be a symbol of wisdom, luck and good fortune. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha, the God of beginnings. This year, it began on September 2nd. The faculty, staff and students of Department of Pharmacy, celebrated the arrival of lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi with full enthusiasm and vidhi-vidhan. Ganesha Chaturthi festival ends with the Visarjan or immersion of the idols in water on the Ananta Chaturdashi day after Hawan, Pooja and Maha Aarti. Dr Amit K Jain with all the faculties pray for good health, wealth and wisdom.
