Department of Fashion Design conducted a “Fashion Exhibition” on July 28 and 29, 2018 at Exhibition Hall near Smriti Head Office, Railway Station Mandsaur. The exhibition sparks new reflection upon how our current fashion system could be ameliorated. This exhibition encouraged visitors to see the significance of these familiar, but creative objects. Every article in the exhibition demonstrated creative and innovative uses of experience fashion design principles. The exhibition was organized to correlate between projects by students and current industry demands. Various guests from all backgrounds including business leaders, social clubs and people from the media attended the event and appreciated the efforts made by the students.
The exhibition showcased various articles which are prepared by the students of fashion design includes various types of jewelleries, kurtis, skirts, one pieces, Pichwai and miniature paintings, fine art paintings, articles on crochet, embroidery, blue pottery, leather craft, Veg-dyes, bed sheets, artifacts and footwear’s. Student’s creations were appreciated by the Chairman, Executive Chairman, Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Mandsaur University.
The whole event was successfully organized under the supervision of Prof. Ashish Parikh Registrar, Mandsaur University, Prof. Mani Butwall, Prof. Shraddha Jhaloya and Prof. Aruna Vyas.
