Brief description / remarks:
Krishna Janmashtmi is celebrated nationally as a birthday of Lord Krishna (the eighth avatar of Vishnu) in India. As a symbolic cultural activity of this occasion, Pot designing competition was organized by Faculty of Life Sciences, Mandsaur University (M.P.) on 13th August 2020 for the students of M.Sc. and B. Sc. (Honours) Biotechnology and Microbiology. To aware students about the rituals of Indian festivals and there importance & to enlighten their creativity in lockdown period this competition was held after highlighting rules and regulations. Criteria of this activity was to design a pot using decorative materials such as mirror work, threads, paintings, clay or any house hold items and send the photo to the coordinator. Total 19 students were registered and all the participants were awarded with E-certificate. Best two of them were awarded with deserving positions. As a first winner E-certificate is awarded to Priyal Sethiya (M.Sc. Biotech. III sem) and second winner was Awani Kushwah (B.Sc. Micro. III sem).
- The competition was successfully organized and students did very creative work in it.
- E-certificate was provided to all the participants and winners were awarded with winning certificate.
Students enjoyed doing some creative work in lockdown period and they were encouraged by getting certificate for their sparkling creativity.
