Brief description / remarks:
Objective: To expertise the students regarding the Introduction to different dosage forms and their evaluation parameters. This session was organized for Students of VIII Sem. and Diploma II Year, who are appearing in various interviews for pharmaceutical Production department/QA/QC.
By this type of activity student will learn about the theoretical aspects of the dosage forms like liquid dosage forms, solid dosage forms and semisolid dosage forms and their evaluation parameters. During the session Dr. Amit K Jain taught the students about general information of capsules, powders, syrup, elixir, liniment, emulation, suspension, ointment, cream, suppositories etc. Dr. Amit Jain also explained regarding the stability problems and their remedies of emulsion and suspension.
Students learnt about the theoretical aspects of the dosage forms like liquid dosage forms, solid dosage forms and semisolid dosage forms and their evaluation parameters. This will definitely help the student during the advancement of the career and Interview process.
