Eco Friendly Ganesha Competition
Mandsaur Institute of Education organized competition of making “Eco-Friendly Ganesha” on the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi on 31/8/2019. Approximately 20 students participated in the competition.Dr. Aradhana sethi informed students that the Ganesha idols sold in the market today are made of plastic, thermocol, POP, and other non-boidegradable materials, which when immersed in water bodies have a detrimental effect on both the plant and animal life and she motivated the students for eco-friendly ganesha. These students made Ganesha Idols from clay with devotion, passion and creativity. Enthusiasm among the students was such high that the entire atmosphere transformed into real old Indian culture It has been proved time again that the old rituals of Indian culture are environment friendly. Students prepared eco friendly, beautiful hand made idols. Mr. Harish Verma was the coordinator of the programme. The objective was to send out a message of eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi. The judges of the competiton were Mrs. Mudita Nagar, Assistant Professor MCA Department and Ms. Shradha Jaloya, Assistant Professor, Fashion Design Department. Chief guest of the programme was Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Vice chancellor of Mandsaur university. He appreciated the creative aspect of students and motivated them for further such activities to be done in future. In the end Dr. Aradhana sethi, HOD. Department of Education motivated the students and proposed vote of thanks.
