Brief description/ Remarks: This online national E-quiz has been conducted under the guidance of Dr. R.A. Sharma sir, Department of Agriculture, Mandsaur University. The topic of this quiz was “General Horticulture”. This online quiz consisted of 20 Multiple Choice Based Questions in which participants who scored 50% marks and above have been provided an e-certificate. Students, academicians, and research scholars from different states of India and abroad have participated in this online quiz. The aim of this activity was to develop an understanding of “Horticulture and also its related dimensions”. This E-quiz has been successfully completed under the supervision of Dr. R.A. Sharma sir. This E-quiz has been conducted by Mr. Jitendra Bhandari and Mr. Shambhu Nayma, Assistant Professor, Department of Agriculture Mandsaur University, Mandsaur (M.P)
Outcome: The online quiz on “General Horticulture” was very valuable for students, academician, and scholars and it help to gain knowledge about Horticulture and its related dimensions. All the participants had taken interest in this quiz which is seems in form of positive feedback received from the participants by various means like telephonic calls, E-mails, chat comments.
No. of participants: A total of 8220 responses were received from participants of various 28 states and Union territory of India and some responses received from other countries participants Pakistan, Bangladesh, Netherland and Newzealand. Below is attached the list number of participants out of which 7852 passed the examination and obtained an e-certificate.
