Brief description / remarks:
A National level online webinar is organized by Department of EEE on “Electrical Battery Management System” for the student, academicians and industry persons. The webinar was about the electronic system that manages a rechargeable battery (cell or battery pack), such as by protecting the battery from operating outside, safe operating area, monitoring state, calculating secondary data, reporting data, controlling environment, authenticating and balancing . He also explained battery pack built together with a battery management system with an external communication data bus to monitor all the required parameters.
Registration: Total 250 registrations were done from all over India and also few were from other country like Libya and Spain.
This webinar exposes students/academicians to explore their knowledge in field of Electrical Battery Management System. The speaker explained how to maximize the battery’s capacity, and to prevent localized under-charging or over-charging. The BMS may actively ensure that all the cells that compose the battery are kept at the same voltage or State of Charge, through balancing.
The Webinar has broadcasted by live streaming on Google Meet.
