Brief description/ Remarks: A workshop on “Agricultural Waste Management” was conducted on 20th March, 2020 to create awareness in students. In this workshop. Different faculty members encouraged the students and explained the importance and usefulness of NADEP compost and also the method of its preparation was explained in detail. Mr. Deepak Yadav (A.P.) delivered the distinctive, creative and informative lecture on Agriculture Waste Management, type & Methods of waste management (NADEP Method, Indore Methods and Bangalore Methods), Generation, Collection, Treatment process, mechanism of composting, Recycling of waste and product marketing. Participating students (ELP/M-10). Later on students worked in field and for fillinf ofg the NADEP Tanka.Mr. Gopal Halecha (A.P.) Department of Agriculture, Mandsaur University concluded the workshop by proposing vote of thanks to all the participants.
Outcome– Students and all the faculty members participated actively in the workshop and learned a lot about Agriculture Waste management for useful purpose. Students showed interest to start Compost methods in their own farms and to earn money from waste.
