Adjunct Session on Dewey Decimal Classification & Colon Classification

The Department of Library Science organized an adjunct session on ‘Dewey Decimal Classification & Colon Classification’  from 08 November 2017 to 10 November 2017 for the students of UG and PG programmes. Dr Arjun Singh was the speaker for this session. He is a renowned professor of Indian Institute of Forest Management (Bhopal) and has a rich experience of Library Science with specialization in Dewey Decimal Classification and Colon Classification System.Dr. Arjun began his lecture by explaining basics concepts of ‘Dewey Decimal Classification & Colon Classification and then explaining various aspects related to it. The session was interactive as he asked questions and then explaining the purpose related to it and as a whole beneficial for students. There were twenty-four students attended this session. Professor Ashwani Yadav coordinated this session meaningfully.
