Adjunct Lecture on Basics of Forensic Science (BIT213)

Faculty of Life Science has organized two days adjunct lectures for the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology Sem IV. During the lecture, adjunct faculty Mrs. Chandni Srinivasan covered various topics of the Basics of Forensic Science (BIT213). She also motivated students and discussed about the scopes of Biotechnology in different departments of Forensic Science. She took two days session (10 hrs) of students & covered two units of the subject. She demonstrated several techniques related to Forensic Science such as evidence collection, preservation, comparison etc. practically. During the session a major part of syllabus was covered.

Such type of academic lectures from experts help in the enhancement of students’ educational experience. Through the lecture a major part of the syllabus for the subject entitled “Basics of Forensic Science (BIT213)” was covered. Students were able to grasp depth knowledge for the subject.
