Brief description/ Remarks: A workshop has been conducted on Organic Production Technology by Department of agriculture. The theme of this workshop was “Panchgavya: A key source for Organic Farming”. It is a part of Experiential Learning Program (ELP) / Module which is an essential activity of skill development of students and to motivate them for their own start up in agriculture. Dr. Akshada Mhashelkar (Asst. Prof.) initiated the discussion on concept of organic farming, different organic products with their nutritive values and importance, organic farm certification process, importance of organic produce. After discussion on organic farming, she introduced concept of panchgavya, method of preparation and benefits of Panchgavya in organic farming. In the workshop, students were trained as how to prepare of Panchagavya product and its application methods. One interactive session was also held at the end for students. Dr. Akshada Mhashelkar (Asst. Prof.), Dr. Sanjay Singh (Asso. Prof.) , Mr. Rahul Patidar (Asst. Prof.), Mr. Hamant Verma (Asst. Prof.) and Mr. Tushar Nakade (Asst. Prof.) were solves the queries raised by students. All the faculty members of the department have participated in the workshop and actively contributed to make it a successful event. Mr. Pankaj Dunge (Asst. Prof.) Department of Agriculture, Mandsaur University concluded the workshop by delivering vote of thanks to all the participants.

Outcome– All of the workshop participants had a great time and learned a lot about organic production, including how to go for organic farming and get high-value produce. Students provided positive feedback and showed an interest in engaging in similar activities in the future.
