A visit to a Dairy Farm
Department of Agriculture organized a visit to a dairy farm. In this visit Mr. Chaman Jat and their workers gave information about Dairy Farming and showed different breeds of cows as well as buffaloes. Mr. Jat directly interacted with students and gave information about benefits and constraints of Dairy farming. Mr. Jat told that at present in the Dairy Farm there are a total of 250 cattle and only 80 are milch animals producing 10 quintals of milk daily. Feed management, Calves management, Housing system and Building units are interesting features of this dairy. Students also visited their Sugarcane Farm and Guava orchard.
