3D Illustration and Ornament Designing Using Macrame
Department of Fashion Design conducted activities “3D Illustration” and “Ornament Designing Using Macrame” for students of II and I year respectively on 09 February 2019.
The 3D Illustration technique combines pencil-drawn fashion illustrations with real life, miscellaneous objects. Examples include an elegant gown rendered from colored pencil shavings, and a puffy princess dress made from cotton wool balls. Students were provided 2 hours for the activity and they have to prepare one illustration using 3D technique. Student Narendra Prajapat was announced as winner in the competition.
Ornament Designing Using Macrame
Macramé knots have subtly made their way into fashion. Visually stunning and expressive, macramé in movement can become a whole show in itself. Total 2 hours were provided to the students and they have to prepare various accessories based on technique. Ms. Taruna Mali was announced as winner in the competition.
