SPIC MACAY VIRASAT LIVE CONCERT – 2019
Mandsaur University organized SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture among youth) Live concert of Vocal Performance by Renowned National Award Winner Shri Kaluram Ji Bamniya, with his 04 musicians in Campus – I on 14th September, 2019. In the concert, Shri Kaluram Ji Bamniya, a renowned vocal artist (Kabir SInger) unfolded the true Indian classical performances starting with a famous Saraswati Vandana.
On this occasion, Shri Bamniya shared his thoughts that Kabir has no relation with any specific religion. He appreciated the audience of Mandsaur University for their positive presence and thoroughly enjoying the essence of music. In this concert, the team has performed 7 different Bhajans of Kabir.
Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Narendra Nahata has expressed his views in the first session of the concert that Kabir criticized the customs and traditions of Hindu as well as Muslim religion. Executive Chairman Shri Rahul Nahata highlighted the magnitude of music and appreciated the performances of the artists. Shri Rahul Nahata along with Vice Chancellor Dr. Shailendra Sharma honored the artists with a shawl, shreephal and memento as a token of remembrance. Faculty of Mandsaur University Mrs. Mudita Nagar Dave and Ms. Tanushree Shrivastav hosted the concert and a student of agriculture department proposed the vote of thanks. The event ended with remarkable performance (bhajan) by Shri Bamniya with his team and it was meticulously appreciated by the spectators.
