Installation & Demonstration of the 3D Printer
On 19th May 2017 at 4.30 P.M. Department of Mechanical Engineering of Mandsaur University got installed a 3D Printer Colido2.0 Plus, from NitNui Technology, in its CAD Lab. Mr. Ranjeet (Service Engineer of the company) installed the printer and then demonstrated its working to the faculty members of the department. On the 20th May 2017, Mr. Ranjeet with the help of a Power Point Presentation, explained the students of Ist Year and IInd Year, the conceptual working and application on the 3D Printer. After PPT, he practically demonstrated the use of 3D Printer by printing a Hexagonal Nut successfully. The working of the printer was found satisfactory. The installation of the 3D Printer is beginning of a new chapter in the field of use of modern technology in Mandsaur University and definitely this will enhance the exposure of the students towards recent trends in the Mechanical Engineering.
