Expert Talk on Power System-I

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mandsaur University has organized a Expert Talk on “Power System-I” from 31 March 2017 to 02 April 2017 by Dr. N. P. Patidar (Associate Professor at MANIT, Former Professor in Electrical Engineering, at NITTTR Bhopal). Dr. Patidar has wide research interest in Power System Security Analysis, Smart Grid in Artificial Intelligence in Power Systems, Transmission Pricing, with 20+ years of experience.
Summary of lecture:
BE II year students have learnt Power System-I as part of their course curriculum.
The following topics were covered:
1. Transmission Line Components & Under Ground Cabling.
2. Transmission systems & performance of transmission line.
3. Voltage control & Distribution system.
