Department of Pharmacy had organized Expert Lecture on Solubility Enhancement techniques using mixed solvency and co- solvency concept. In this session the resource person was Dr. R. K Maheshwary, Professor, SGITS, Indore. Dr. R. K Maheshwary, Professor, SGITS, Indore., is having more than 26 years of experience in area of academics and research. Dr. Maheshwari has proposed the mixed-solvency concept. The mixed solvency concept states that all substances whether liquid, gas or solid possess solubilizing power. Solids play very important role in improving the solubility of drugs in different solvents. During his talk he explained the various practical examples which can be applied in day to day practical.
