Desktop Publishing Workshop

Department of Computer Application organized a workshop on Desktop Publishing (DTP) from 26 March to 31 March 2019 for MCA and BCA students. Resource person Mr. Rahul Chauhan from New Delhi instructed students on DTP Software like Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrate and Adobe InDesin. The workshop was organized to promote self employment among students.

This workshop covered many topics which students can use to get job or for self employment.Students learned to make visiting cards, invitation cards, brochures, magazine cover page; flex banner etc. 50 students attend the workshop. On the last day instructor also provided knowledge about carrier opportunities in the field of DTP. He also explained how a student can get Adobe Certified.

Outcome: New entrants got aware about the DTP Program, students done various activities like creating the Magazines cover with the help of Photoshop, Visiting card under Adobe illustrator and College Boucher in Adobe inDesign.
