Commodity Awareness Program

Department of Business Management and Commerce organized a seminar on “Commodity Awareness” on 23rd October 2018, which was delivered by Mr. Vinit Kaler (Training and Education) from MCX India.

The key purpose behind this session was to make the students aware about the commodity market basics and product along with the knowledge of derivatives and option.  Session started with an inaugural session chaired by Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Mandsaur University at 10:30 am in LT-01. Prof. Avinash Vikram (HOD, DBMC) greeted the guest by presenting a bouquet. Prior to the commencement of the session Dr. Shailendra Sharma expressed his views on commodity and derivative market and motivate students towards such initiatives. During the session, Mr. Vinit highlighted the basics of commodity market and also discussed recent changes like universal exchange, option trading in commodity market, launching of gold trading by NSE and BSE etc. The whole session was interactive and students took participation by raising queries. All the departmental faculty members were present during the session. The whole program was hosted by Ms. Suman Gurjar (BBA Student)  & vote of thanks presented by Ms. Karishma Pagani (MBA Student)
