Title: “Alumni Interaction”

Brief description / Remarks: 

An Alumni Meet was organized by EEE department on 05.10.2023, (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM). 

Er. Tilak Rathore (Alumni of ECE department, 2010 batch), working as Head of Operations, Maintenance and Monitoring in Wind World, Mandsaur and Jaora Division.

The main objectives of the alumni interaction event were as follows:

  • To facilitate a meaningful exchange of knowledge and experiences between alumni and current students.
  • To inspire and motivate students by showcasing the success stories of accomplished alumni.
  • To create a platform for networking and mentorship opportunities for students.

He interacted with all the students (Total 111) of EEE department (B.Tech. & Diploma). All the students were benefited by attending this program.

Er. Tilak Rathore has shared his memories of his college days when he was studying in the department and his struggling period, his occupation & professional experience with the students. In the interaction he also discussed with the students that in industrial environment practical knowledge is very necessary, and how they can get benefited by the practical knowledge in departmental labs, industrial visits and internships. He thanked the department for conducting such interaction and also requested the department to organize more of such Alumni programs in near future.

Outcomes:     

  • Overall, the event received positive feedback from both students and alumni. Participants appreciated the opportunity to get connect and learn from accomplished graduates of Mandsaur University.
  • Students found the event to be highly informative and inspiring, gaining valuable insights into the professional world and a clearer understanding of their career paths.
  • Alumni was eager to give back to their alma mater and contribute to the growth and development of the current students.
  • Suggestions given for the improvement included providing more opportunities for one-on-one mentorship and making the event a regular occurrence.
