Client/Server Computing Lab
The Client/Server Computing Lab provides extensive computing resources for first year students to perform their practicals . This includes high-performance UNIX/Linux based computers. The laboratory provide services as a commuter center common to all first year students,
The main objective of the laboratory to introduce first year students with Object oriented and client\server programming. Ubuntu is the main operating system of the laboratory with c++, Java, Eclipse and other supported software. The laboratory is equipped with Audio Visual systems.
In this lab, students will learn how to put “principles into practice,” in a hands-on-networking. The students gain knowledge of networking, switched, network simulation and computer communications. Static Routing, Dynamic Routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF and BGP), LAN switching, Transport Layer Protocols: UDP and TCP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and SNMP are the main focus areas. This lab offers high-speed internet connectivity and a well structured LAN infrastructures. Linux Kernel development, Java, NS-2 and other supported networking software are available in the laboratory. Network Administration and Network Management is key focus areas of the laboratory.
This Lab consists of computer systems with 2 GB RAM and Routers and switches to study the networking. The lab is well designed to support constructive learning environment.
Operating System Lab
This lab attempts to provide advanced concepts of Operating systems to the students.
Linux kernel development, Distributed systems, Android applications development are the key areas of the laboratory. Students also get trained on Linux system administration and widows systems administration. Student learn the internal working and administration of various operating systems. C++, JAVA, .NET ,PHP are available in the laboratory. This lab is well established and fully-equipped with all new technologies for the development of software packages.
Software Engineering Lab
Software engineering lab focus on industry standard software development practices. Students use full SDLC Practices in learning industry standards project development. IBM Rational Software Architect is main development tool available here. The main focus area on Agile development and other development methodologies. J2EE supported by IBM RAD and DB2 is the main focus area of the laboratory. The laboratory provide support to develop N-Tier enterprise application development using rational platform.
Advance Computing Lab
Advanced computing laboratory provide supports to train students on advanced areas like Cloud computing, Information storage and management, Service oriented architecture, Data mining etc. Research based projects are developed in the laboratory. high Computers to support development on Cloud platform are available.
Hadoop, MS-Azure, Web services Development, Scilab, NS, Weka are available in the laboratory to perform practical on advanced topics.
