30 Hours Hands-on Training on Tally with GST

Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce organized 30 Hours workshop on Tally with GST for all second year students of BBA, B.Com and MBA I year. Workshop commenced from April 09, 2019 which was arranged in MBA Lab. The resource person was Mr. Sachin Parikh who is certified trainer in tally with GST and having rich experience in the field.
In the initial session Mr. Sachin explained the theoretical aspect of fundamental accounting and assigned some practical questions related to journal entries and ledger posting. After that he correlated the rules with computerized accounting. Students were trained through demo tally software and trainer explained the procedure for making journal entries over the Tally. During the session hands on training was provided to students related to company creation, ledger posting, trial balance and balance sheet. In the last phase of session tally with GST training was also given and trainer explained the components of GST – CGST, SGST and IGST with practical aspect. During the workshop around 32 students took active participation. Last day of workshop doubt session was conducted for solving the issues related with subject.
Workshop ended with vote of thanks to resource person.
